Technical specifications
- Type
- Peptide blend
- Scientific name
- BPC-157 (Body Protection Compound 157, pentadecapeptide) + TB-500 (N-terminally acetylated thymosin β4 fragment 17-23, Ac-LKKTETQ-OH)
- Origin
- Two-component blend: BPC-157 is a 15-residue partial sequence of a protein isolated from human gastric juice (CAS 137525-51-0, PubChem CID 9941957); TB-500 is the N-acetylated 17-23 fragment (LKKTETQ) of human thymosin β4, UniProt P62328 (CAS 885340-08-9, PubChem CID 62707662). Note an industry-wide labelling ambiguity: "TB-500" is applied both to this heptapeptide and to full-length 43-residue thymosin β4, so component identity should be read off the lot CoA.

- Lyophilized (powder)
- -20°C, desiccated and protected from light · stable long-term; -80°C for multi-year storage
- Reconstituted
- 2-8°C · use within ~30 days; aliquot to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles
- Room temperature
- Lyophilized powder tolerates days to a few weeks ambient during shipping. Sustained room-temperature storage is not advisable: both components are short unmodified linear peptides with no stabilising cyclisation or disulfide, so hydrolysis and oxidation cause progressive potency loss, markedly faster once in solution. General peptide-handling practice — no compound-specific stability study was located for this blend.
